Answer
KV is a store where we save a value under a key. The key can be a campaign ID, and the value its configuration. Cloudflare KV is especially useful for frequent reads of data that doesn't have to change everywhere immediately.
If I change a value, different locations may still see the old copy for a while. That's why KV isn't automatically a good place for a strict counter of the last free spot. A “read, add one, write” operation can also lose a concurrent change. Configuration that tolerates delay and an atomic limit are different needs, even if both can be represented as a simple number or JSON.
Why it matters: A tool used in your project, with an important correctness limitation.
Possible follow-ups: Must a read always see a value written a moment earlier?
How did it go? Be honest — “Not yet” puts the question on your review list.
