When can Copilot Studio and Adaptive Cards simplify the product?
Answer out loud or in your head first, then compare.
Answer
If users already work in Teams, ready-made channels and connectors can speed up building a solution. Copilot Studio helps build agents in that environment, and the Power Platform covers broader app and automation tools. Your own frontend gives more control, but it takes more work of your own.
An Adaptive Card is a description of a small UI in JSON, e.g. a summary and an approval button, rendered by an app such as Teams. The supported elements depend on the host. The card collects the decision, but the backend has to check the person, the permissions and the proposal's version. Before choosing, I also check licences, organisational rules and the limits of the available integrations.
Why it matters: This is a nice-to-have area, so the reason for using it matters more than memorising the admin panel.
Possible follow-ups: What happens after an old card is clicked when the proposal has already changed?
How did it go? Be honest — “Not yet” puts the question on your review list.
