What is SAP, and why would an agent connect to it?
Answer out loud or in your head first, then compare.
Answer
SAP is a company and a family of business systems used for finance, purchasing and running an organisation's processes, among other things. In a conversation it's worth clarifying which product and process you mean, because “SAP” alone doesn't point to one specific integration.
An agent can help gather data for a purchase request, but the write should go through the allowed API and the system's rules. It's not enough for the model to consider the request sensible. You have to check the user, the parameters and any approval, and after the write know the result in SAP. A lack of practice configuring SAP can honestly be combined with knowledge of safe API integration.
Why it matters: Lets you understand the context without trying to learn a whole ERP before the interview.
Possible follow-ups: What do you do if, after sending the request, the connection drops with no response?
How did it go? Be honest — “Not yet” puts the question on your review list.
