Answer
Azure is Microsoft's cloud platform, covering many services: running applications, data, networking and AI tools. Azure OpenAI is a specific part of that offering, related to accessing OpenAI models within Microsoft's environment. They're not two names for the same whole.
A company can keep its backend in AWS and use the model and company identity on Microsoft's side. Then the connections, permissions and data flow between the platforms matter. Putting the model in Azure alone doesn't solve every privacy problem. You need to check the configuration, region, data retention and the organisation's policies.
Why it matters: The offer combines AWS with Microsoft integrations.
Possible follow-ups: Is using two clouds always an architectural mistake?
How did it go? Be honest — “Not yet” puts the question on your review list.
