How do you choose a rendering approach for a private assistant?
Answer out loud or in your head first, then compare.
Answer
I ask whether search-engine ranking is needed, how quickly the first view must appear and how login works. An internal dashboard can often be a plain browser app with an API. Server rendering can help with the first screen and session handling, but it isn't required just because we use AI.
Static generation suits public content that rarely changes. Private data must not end up on a page shared by everyone. I also distinguish streaming HTML fragments from streaming successive fragments of the model's answer. Those are two different things that can occur together.
Why it matters: A practical application of the SSR, SSG and SPA basics.
Possible follow-ups: What should appear on screen before the user logs in?
