What is an SPA, and how is it different from traditional page navigation?
Answer out loud or in your head first, then compare.
Answer
An SPA is an app in which, after the first load, many view changes happen without fetching a whole new HTML document. JavaScript updates the interface and often fetches data from an API separately. The user can still have different URLs, handled by a router.
Many dashboards and internal tools work like this. The upside is smooth interaction, but you need to take care of the initial load, browser history and error handling, among other things. An SPA doesn't automatically mean no server rendering: modern frameworks can combine preparing the first view on the server with further navigation in the browser.
Why it matters: SPA is listed in the role's requirements.
Possible follow-ups: What happens when you refresh a subpage's URL without the right hosting configuration?
