What is Partial Prerendering (PPR)?
Answer out loud or in your head first, then compare.
Answer
PPR combines a part of the page prepared in advance with parts that need data from the specific request and arrive later through streaming.
Example: the header and product description can appear immediately, while a personalised part waits for its data under a Suspense boundary.
To be precise: in the current Cache Components model I mark caching explicitly with use cache and separate runtime-dependent parts with loading boundaries.
Pitfall: PPR's configuration and maturity have changed between Next.js versions. In an interview I explain the idea first, and only then the API of a particular version. I don't assume a whole screen must be either entirely static or entirely dynamic.
How did it go? Be honest — “Not yet” puts the question on your review list.
