App Router vs Pages Router — what changes?

The Pages Router bases routes on files in pages/. The App Router uses segments in app/, page and layout files, and supports Server Components and streaming.
pages/products/[id].jsx → Pages Router
app/products/[id]/page.jsx → App RouterIn practice: in the App Router a shared layout wraps the subpages, and I move interactive parts into Client Components.
Pitfall: a question about the older API isn't wrong — it may be about an existing project. First I find out which router the team uses.
