How do you deliver something quickly without skipping important safeguards?
Answer out loud or in your head first, then compare.
Answer
I narrow the scope rather than just removing checks. The first version can handle one type of document, work read-only, or require human confirmation. Then I can test the value faster and the consequences of errors are smaller.
I don't treat a data leak as an acceptable shortcut “because it's only an MVP”. If I postpone an improvement, I describe the gap, its consequence and when we'll come back to it. Better a small path that works from input to result than a broad demo with no verification. The remaining risk should be known to the person responsible for the product, not hidden in a code comment.
Why it matters: The offer requires independently taking problems through to a useful solution.
Possible follow-ups: What can safely be cut from the first scope, and what can't?
How did it go? Be honest — “Not yet” puts the question on your review list.
