How do you safely let an agent prepare a request in SAP?
Answer out loud or in your head first, then compare.
Answer
The model can gather the data and propose a request. But it doesn't get arbitrary access to SAP. The backend exposes a narrow operation, e.g. creating a request of a specific shape. It checks the data, the user and the process rules.
Before an important write, a person sees a specific proposal with the amount and recipient. The approval applies to that version. After approval, the application performs the operation and records its confirmation. If the connection drops, it checks whether the request already exists instead of automatically creating another.
I agree the interface and rules with someone who knows that SAP setup. I say plainly if I lack practice in configuring it. I can still show knowledge of APIs, permissions and handling an ambiguous result.
Why it matters: Translates tool calling into real effects in a company system.
Possible follow-ups: How do you recognise a double click on the approval? What if the data changed after approval?
How did it go? Be honest — “Not yet” puts the question on your review list.
