What does an agent's memory mean?

Answer
It's the information the system keeps in order to use it later. It can be the user's preferences, earlier agreements or the state of a task in progress. The model itself doesn't have to remember the previous call — the application provides the relevant data or uses a mechanism offered by the service.
It's worth separating conversation history, durable facts and process state. “The user likes short answers” is different from “request number 12 has already been saved”. The second must be reliable, so an action isn't performed twice. Every kind of memory needs rules for access, updates and deletion. Don't memorise a whole conversation as a set of true facts.
Why it matters: Memory is an explicit requirement in the offer, but it covers several different needs.
Possible follow-ups: How do you correct a wrong memorised fact?
How did it go? Be honest — “Not yet” puts the question on your review list.
